Working as a live‑in carer with Caremark Pulborough and Horsham you will provide outstanding care, practical and emotional support to someone who wishes to remain in their own home. Your role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Live‑in carers help with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and mobility, while also managing household duties including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. They often assist with medication prompts, monitoring health changes, and arranging or accompanying the person to appointments.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care (washing, dressing, mobility assistance)
* Prepare meals and manage nutrition
* Support medication management and prompts
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Perform household duties: cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping
* Monitor health changes and report to care team
* Assist with arranging and accompanying to appointments
Qualifications & Requirements
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous care experience (desired)
* Desirable: Full UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS check
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
