Overview
South Lanarkshire Council is hiring for COMM ENT 2528 G1 - Ground Operative - Various Locations. The role supports frontline environmental improvements across the district and helps maintain and enhance places where people live, work and play.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and enhance public places, including green space maintenance and street cleansing, to directly improve the quality of life for residents.
* Be part of a committed frontline team delivering a range of vital environmental services across the district.
Requirements and Qualifications
* An enthusiastic, reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
* Committed to public service and community wellbeing.
* Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* A team player with good communication skills.
* Environmental services experience is welcome but not essential.
* A current full UK driving licence would be desirable but not essential.

Location, hours and salary
Location: Various locations within South Lanarkshire
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,715 – £28,956
These posts are temporary for 1 year and there are a number of posts being recruited.
