Job Title: Experienced Pharmacy Dispenser / Counter Assistant

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding customer service — greet, assist, and advise patients with professionalism and empathy.
* Accurately process prescriptions, label and prepare medications, and handle queries confidently.
* Provide clear and safe information to patients about medicines (including usage, side effects, and storage).
* Maintain accurate and timely records of dispensing and patient interactions.
* Manage stock effectively — check deliveries, monitor expiry dates, and keep shelves well-organised.
* Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes.
* Adhere to all GPhC standards, SOPs, and health & safety requirements at all times.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a pharmacy dispenser (required).
* Excellent knowledge of pharmacy practice, prescription processing, and medicines.
* Confident communication skills (verbal and written English).
* Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
* IT-literate — comfortable using pharmacy software and computer systems.
* Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach.
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, when required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.65 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
Work Location: In person
