About the Role
As a Teacher of French and Spanish, you will:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in French and Spanish across [Key Stages 3, 4 and/or 5 - amend as appropriate]
Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Use a range of teaching strategies to promote active participation, progress, and enjoyment of language learning
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
Support students in developing linguistic skills as well as cultural awareness
Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom practice
Take part in enrichment activities, trips, or language-related events where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish
Is an effective and reflective classroom practitioner
Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills
Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
Is committed to inclusive teaching and safeguarding practices
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
