We’re on the hunt for aSous Chef to join the opening team at Lennox, Edinburgh. This is your chance to be part of something brand new, chef-led, energetic and unapologetically bold from day one.
This is a key leadership role within the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to shape standards, build the team and deliver consistently exceptional food.
The role
The role of Sous chef will see you work closely with the Head chef in overseeing the entire kitchen operation. You will assist in supervising your team and coordinating the delivery of high quality food, in a busy and fast paced kitchen environment. You will have enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge in the kitchen as well as the people around you.
The Role
As a Senior Sous Chef at Lennox, you will:
* Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and overall operation
* Lead from the front during service, ensuring quality, consistency and pace
* Take ownership of sections and oversee prep, service and standards across the kitchen
* Support with team training, development and building a strong kitchen culture
* Ensure high levels of food safety, hygiene and compliance are maintained at all times
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a seamless guest experience
* Maintain strong organisational standards and thrive in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Sous Chef role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
* A genuine passion for flavour, food and hospitality
* Solid understanding of modern cooking techniques and kitchen operations
* High standards with strong attention to detail
* Positive attitude, resilience and the ability to multitask under pressure
