* Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
* Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
* Overtime available – 1.5×

Job Role of a CNC Machinist
* Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines to tight tolerances.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD/CAM information.
* Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to suit materials and operations.
* Carry out in‑process checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
* Complete work safely, efficiently, and within required timescales.
* Maintain accurate records and job documentation.
* Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and colleagues to optimise machining processes.
* Support workshop housekeeping and ensure machinery remains clean and well maintained.
* Follow all Health & Safety procedures and promote safe working practices.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
Skills & Experience Required of a CNC Machinist
* Demonstrable experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment.
* Experience programming on Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of machining methods, tooling selection, and materials.
* Capable of working independently with full ownership of quality and output.
* High level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing top‑quality work.
* Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Good communicator with strong teamwork skills.
