Senior Engineer – Marine Shaft Civils
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering a major marine shaft civils project.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Site Agent and Project Management team.
• Overseeing engineering delivery on a marine shaft package.
• Managing setting out, surveying and technical support to site teams.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and technical documentation.
• Managing temporary works and coordinating with the Temporary Works Coordinator.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, design and specification.
• Managing subcontractors and supervising junior / setting out engineers.
• Overseeing quality assurance and maintaining accurate site records.
Senior Engineer Requirements:
• CSCS Card (Ideally White).
• SMSTS / SSSTS – beneficial but not essential.
• 5–10+ years’ civil engineering experience.
• Proven experience on marine civils, deep shaft, cofferdam or heavy infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete, temporary works and ground support systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
