Optometrist, Shaftesbury, full or part time, independent, £45000-£65000. A brilliant opportunity to join a well established independent practice operating in simply stunning facilities near Shaftesbury. Founded over 90 years ago, this practice is known for providing a fantastic service and clinical excellence to all patients. With access to the latest technology including an OCT and test times of 40 minutes, Optometrists can take their time and provide a bespoke service to patients so they have the best experience possible. There are also opportunities for you to become involved in many clinical services with the practice already involved in many specialist contact lens services and are also happy to support your clinical progression in areas such as independent prescribing as well!
Key Duties
* Available to work three to five days per week (full time equivalent hours 37.5 hours a week)
* General working hours include 9am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday with alternate weekend work a possibility to accommodate and early finish also provided on Saturdays enabling superb work life balance!
* The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable or experienced with specialist contact lens services but not essential
* The practice operates with two test rooms and test times of c.40 minutes to ensure exceptional levels of patient care at all times
* Paper based records system currently in operation
