Website Manager/Digital Manager (Office Based), South Birmingham, £40-50k This successful and stable company is now seeking a professional and organised Website Manager to join/lead their existing In-House Team. Based at the company’s Head Office you will be responsible for managing a team of 6-8 people, so prior experience in supervising/managing a team is essential. Reporting to the Directors, the Web Site Manager will be an important member of the leadership team. Responsibilities: • Create and implement agreed marketing strategies across all marketing channels including keyword research and competitor analysis, to ensure business goals are achieved. • Research the market to discover new trends and technologies to improve digital performance. • Plan, develop, implement, monitor and optimise all Paid Marketing Campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta, Pinterest, YouTube etc. • Track campaign success and report on findings, identifying/suggesting improvements to increase CTR. • Ensure SEO best practices are followed. • Analyse website performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for CRO (conversion rate optimisation). • Conduct A/B testing and analyse user journeys to improve site usability and increase conversions. • Oversee in-house creative content and design in the production of adverts (digital, direct mail and press) and other marketing materials. • Work with the company’s Development agency to schedule and plan website development and maintenance. • Oversee website uploads and landing pages development. • Managing the team to improve quality and traffic acquisition. • Managing the customer database and communication using various channels, including email, post, SMS. Requirements: • Experience in a similar role - preferably B2C. • Knowledge of implementing digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display and affiliate channels. • Prior hands on experience at running digital marketing campaigns, including audience selection, administration of creative assets, budget allocation and the management of bidding strategies. Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimisation. • Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools. • Knowledge of various CMS systems including Magento and integrations. • High proficiency in relevant reporting tools including Google Analytics. • An understanding of HTML, CSS etc. • An understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis. • A hands-on approach and attitude to get things done. • Good written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in all relevant digital reporting tools. • The company is presently in the process of migrating their Magento site to a WordPress/WooCommerce platform so knowledge of this would be ideal. Please be aware overall responsibilities and “official” job title are subject to change depending on the skills/experience of the successful candidate. This will be Office Based Monday to Friday.
