We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Validation Engineer to join our Global Validation and Sterility team on a permanent contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team and deliver the validation activities and maintain ongoing compliance of the critical manufacturing processes. The key responsibilities of the Validation Engineer include (but are not limited to):• Maintain the validated state of critical manufacturing processes for medical devices; machining, polishing, cleaning, packing, labelling and sterilisation, to ensure patient safety.• Validate equipment used in the manufacturing, cleaning and packing of medical devices to the required regulatory standards (e.g. robotic polishing, packing machines, multi-axis cutting machines, robotic cleaning equipment).• Write and execute validation protocols (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification, Process Validation), including hands-on testing and coordination of validation activities.• Validate packaging for new product introduction and packaging improvements for legacy products.• Validate sterility assurance activities: validation of ISO Class 7 cleanrooms, monitoring of pre-sterilisation product bioburden, validation of gamma irradiation and ethylene oxide gas sterilisation of implants. Cleaning and sterilisation validation studies for surgical instrumentation.• Track the validation projects and maintenance of Validation Master Plan.• Work to GMP requirements and following industry best practice.• Communicate progress at team meetings and chair meetings for key validation projects.• Run corrective & preventive action projects.• Write standard operating procedures and work instructions. Review / Approval of document and reports.• Support / advise Manufacturing, Engineering and Research & Development on identification of validation requirements and execution of projects.
