The post holder will ensure that all incidents related to health and safety are investigated and managed effectively including the use of highly developed investigatory skills where potential breaches of statutory legislation have been made e.g. criminal activity. To work with operational directorates on ensuring the lessons learned from these incidents and recommendations / actions implemented and embedded. To lead on the advice and support for managers to comply with their health and safety legal responsibilities.
