Duties of the Machine Operator:
Operate and monitor production line machinery to ensure efficient and smooth production processes.
Feed raw materials into machines and monitor the production process.
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process, making adjustments to machines as necessary.
Machine Testing and problem solving
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Complete production activity log records, and reports, documenting quantities produced, defects found, and any machine adjustments made.
Follow proper handling procedures for hazardous materials and adhere to environmental regulations.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, suggesting process enhancements and efficiency optimisations.
Control and adjustment on line (eg- speed)
Set up and calibrate machines before production runs and perform regular checks to maintain optimal performance.
Additional Information for the Machine Operator:
Monday to Friday
07.30 - 15.30.
Friday finish 13.30.
£12.40 Per Hour.
Own transport is advantageous.
Previous experience within a production and machine operating position required.
