Job Title: Project Manager & Quantity Surveyor, Consultancy

Salary: £65,000-85,000 + Bonus
Our client is a premier consultancy and real estate development, investment firm dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable projects. They specialise in a wide range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
They are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to assume the dual responsibilities of Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor within their established consultancy arm. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing our development projects from inception to completion, while also ensuring cost control and financial efficiency through expert quantity surveying practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of real estate development projects, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare detailed quantity surveys, cost estimates, and financial analyses to support project decision-making and cost control efforts.
* Negotiate contracts, change orders, and variations with contractors, vendors, and consultants to optimize project costs and mitigate risks.
* Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management on project feasibility, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management and quantity surveying roles within the real estate development or construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of real estate development processes, construction methodologies, and building codes.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in project management software and quantity surveying tools.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
* Professional certification(s) in project management and quantity surveying are advantageous.
