Overview
We are a thriving and expanding food agents and brokers company, seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our technical team. This role is essential to upholding our high standards in customer compliance and technical systems.
Responsibilities
* Oversee supplier approval processes and conduct regular risk assessments
* Manage Supplier Assurance Questionnaires (SAQs)
* Maintain and verify supplier documentation, certifications, and compliance records
* Review supplier performance from a technical perspective and produce reports
* Coordinate product testing programs and follow up on results
* Support New Product Development (NPD), including organizing and evaluating taste panels
* Respond to supplier technical queries and provide guidance
* Maintain and update product specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a technical or quality role (preferably within the food industry)
* Strong understanding of food safety systems and standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
* High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
