Job Description
A pioneering organisation in the electric vehicle infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced EV Charging Installation and Commissioning Engineer to support the deployment of its next-generation DC solutions across the UK.
With a portfolio of innovative charging systems and involvement in major government-backed programmes, this company is scaling rapidly and offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects across the commercial EV sector.
This is a field-based, hands-on engineering role ideal for someone with strong electrical skills and direct experience in installing and commissioning EV charging equipment, particularly 400V three-phase and DC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install and commission EV charging stations at customer sites, ensuring work is completed safely and to regulatory standards
2. Troubleshoot and resolve faults on AC and DC charging systems, including backend software and network-related issues
3. Work with 400V three-phase systems, ensuring safe and compliant connections
4. Conduct thorough site inspections, tests, and verifications on completed installations
5. Perform energy audits to assess site readiness for EV network deployment
6. Commission 415V networks and sign off ICP works on-site
7. Accurately document installation and testing processes through clear written reports
