BIM Champion) to join their London team. The ideal person will be coming from an Architectural background, with at least 2+ yrs of in practice experience, excellent BIM skills and in-depth understanding of modern digital construction concepts.\n\nThis opportunity is great for long term growth, as it offers a clear path to develop, apply and grow a BIM skillset en route to becoming a BIM Manager. You would be joining an existing team within the studio, collaborating with Architects, Technologists and Designers to support projects, improve processes and have the chance to gain exposure to a varied portfolio of projects that range in scale and value.\n\nThe Role …\n\nCoordinating with external consultants (Monkeyflow) to oversee the use of BIM/Revit software company wide, including configuring, maintaining and supporting all BIM related software installations.\nReview and mitigate risk.\nGuide, support and review the delivery of Client requirements and agreed protocols produced by the team, assisting as required to ensure workflow and meet production schedules\nTogether with Monkeyflow - maintaining and developing DA Revit Template and all BIM/Revit manuals and protocols, ensuring alignment and compliance with ISO 19650.\nSetting up Revit projects, supporting start-up co-ordination and setting out project BIM Strategy.\nMaintaining company specific Revit Library.\nMaintaining project BEPs.\nMonitoring and assessing staff Revit skill levels and identifying training needs.
Providing and organising end-user training.\nEnforcing DA BIM Standards and regularly auditing project models to ensure compliance with project standards.\nTroubleshooting Revit related issues.\nAssisting in and creating content in response to project needs.\nAssisting with BIM related project tasks\nIdentifying and evaluating new, relevant BIM related software and technologies. \n\nExperience and Skillset …\n\nQualified as an Architect or Architectural Technologist with sound technical understanding of UK construction processes, procedures, rules and regulations. Any BIM related qualifications in conjunction are also desirable.\nMinimum of 2 years UK professional work experience as a BIM Architect/Technician/Champion.\nExperience working on large residential and commercial projects and delivering projects using Revit across all RIBA work stages, particularly from Stage 3 onwards.\nExperience working on BIM Level 2 with a detailed understanding of ISO 19650 compliancy.\nAbility to read, understand and interpret contract documents, appointment and information protocol, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
\n\nMinimum of 5 years advanced Revit and AutoCAD experience essential for this position.\nExperience of Navisworks essential.\nExperience of running clash detection and producing clash reports.\nExperience of Dynamo essential.\nKnowledge of Solibri, Revitzo and BIM Collab advantageous.\nKnowledge of NBS Chorus advantageous.\nKnowledge of visualisation technologies and their place in the BIM workflow. \n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAble to work on own initiative, managing multiple tasks and priorities.\nPossess strong people skills and leadership skills. \n\nIf this sounds like you and you've got some of the relevant skills, this is could be a great next step in your career.
