About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dedicated team in a nursing home setting. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the nursing home (resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.).

Carry out daily, weekly, and deep cleaning tasks in line with infection control standards.
*
Safely use cleaning materials and equipment, following COSHH guidelines.
*
Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing residents’ personal clothing and home linen.
*
Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain hygiene standards throughout.
*
Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
*
Work effectively as part of a team to support the overall smooth running of the home.
Requirements:
*
Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience (preferably in a care home, hospital, or similar setting).
*
Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
*
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
A caring and respectful approach towards residents.
*
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
