About the role

We are looking for an outstanding trauma and neurodevelopmental differences-informed individual with strong and proven leadership and management skills. The post holder will hold responsibility for managing lead clinicians based at sites across a defined region and supporting the leadership and development of multi-disciplinary clinical teams. The clinical teams comprise of, but are not limited to Psychology and Psychotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

Working within the overall framework of the organisations policies and procedures you will play a key role and hold responsibilities in clinical governance, people management, clinical service development, partnership working and some clinical budget oversight.

A key aspect of the role will be quality assuring the delivery of informed clinical interventions at a universal (ALL), enhanced (GROUP) and specialist level (INDIVIDUAL) to support our wider teams in meeting our people’s needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP’s).

Essential Criteria:

• Highly experienced Qualified & Registered Clinician with leadership experience in either Psychology, Speech & language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy or Nursing

• Registered with the HCPC or other recognised professional body as relevant to the discipline.

• Full UK Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle

• Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary and/or multi-site teams

• Experience of working with autistic people who may also have other additional needs (e.g. intellectual disability, learning difficulties, complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)

• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically

• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners

• Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively

• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the sector

• Experience of lecturing/teaching/training/research

• Skills in collecting, analysing and presenting data
