We are actively seeking a Night Receptionist at Fanhams Hall in Ware, Hertfordshire who will be responsible for the Hotel, the guests and the operation during the night period. You will be required to work 16 hours per week, 10.45pm -7:15am.
Role Responsibility
Lots to do but lots of fun
As Night Receptionist you will be responsible for;
1. Maintaining our luxury standards of cleanliness and service at all times
2. Operating cleaning machinery in accordance with guidelines given
3. Working with cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines
4. Attend to guests needs and requirements, including arrivals and departures
5. Set up conference and banqueting rooms as required
6. Responsible for the security and integrity of property and guests whilst on duty, adhering to company policy and legislation
7. Regular patrols to check security and safety of property and guests
8. To work as part of a team and to constantly evaluate, train and improve the experience of our guests
9. Establish and maintain effective employee relations across departments
10. To ensure all opportunities to generate revenue for the hotel are maximised and there is a strong channel of communication between sales to ensure effective, efficient and wholly beneficial operations for both staff and guests alike
The Ideal Candidate
11. An keen eye for detail
12. Previous experience as a night receptionist or porter
13. The ability to work alone and as part of a team
14. The ability to work through the night
15. Good communication skills and a high level of spoken English
16. Exceptional organisational skill
17. Customer service skills
18. To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable and attentive
19. Computer skills
