East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a qualified individual to work with the management team to provide services suitable for children aged 0-5 years and their families.

The plan outlines shared hopes and aspirations for East Renfrewshire to be a place where everyone can flourish, thrive, and grow by 2040.
Applicants should currently hold the qualifications of HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 and SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7 (or equivalent recognized by SSSC). Experience working with children with additional support needs is desirable.
Salary adjustments are made annually on the anniversary of the appointment, including a payment in lieu of an additional leave day accrued at the start of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.
This position is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Applicants must not be barred from working with children. If you have lived or worked outside the UK in the past 10 years, an overseas police check may be required.
Applicants must have or be eligible to apply for Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration within the first three months of employment, with registration completed within six months.
