With 96 private bedrooms thoughtfully arranged into cozy households of just 16 residents each, our home-style model fosters warmth, comfort and meaningful relationships. As the Care Service Employee- Lifestyle Officer, you will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident’s choices and independence. In running recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents’ needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account. Shifts for this role- Saturday-Sunday 9.30-1500 Monday-Wednesday 8.30-1600 We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $31.13 - $34.59/hr superannuation penalties salary packaging. Skills and experience You have completed Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or willing to complete) Experience working with people with Dementia (highly desirable) You hold a current NSW/ACT Drivers License and will be able to take clients on outings Senior First Aid Certificate is essential You have previous experience in caring for the elderly within an Aged or Community Care setting You have highly developed organisation and time management skills You have an understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes About Us: BaptistCare is a leading purpose-led care organisation, guided by our Christian identity and serving people and communities across Australia for more than 110 years.
