Job Description
* Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
* Support senior accountants with audits and financial reporting tasks.
* Handle reconciliations, including bank and supplier accounts.
* Contribute to the preparation of tax returns and VAT submissions.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice as needed.
* Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and industry practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful part-qualified accountant should have:
* Progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
* Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
* 2+ years experience working in practice.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
* An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
