Maplewood Independent Living is looking for a fun, energetic, and compassionate individual to join a small, dedicated care team supporting an adult with complex medical and care needs in her own home in Braintree.

This is a special role for someone who brings positive energy, warmth, and initiative into everything they do. Youll be part of a close-knit, supportive team, helping to create a calm, engaging, and empowering environment day to day.
Shift Patterns:
A mix of day, evening, and overnight shifts are available. Weekend availability is preferred.
Drivers are desirable but not essential, as longer shifts can be provided.

Your Role
* Work as part of an established team to support and maintain the clients independence at home.
* Confidently assist with personal care, medication and daily routines.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Ensure the clients health, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
* Communicate regularly with the branch manager and team.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK (required).
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
* Reliable, professional, and caring attitude.
* Respect for client dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
* Comfortable using a smartphone (training provided for care app).
Desired Skills
* Previous care experience is beneficial, but not essential.
* Strong communication skills good standard of spoken and written English.
* Able to work on their own initiative.
* Good timekeeping and reliability.
* Naturally upbeat with a good sense of humour.
* Trustworthy and professional.
