Carpenter Multi Trade Operative – Swindon
We are working with a busy and well liked maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Carpenter Multiskilled Operative who will provide a reactive maintenance service on domestic properties in Swindon.
You will be doing maintenance work on social housing properties, dealing with customers, making them feel at ease and providing a top trades service. You must be able to do all aspects of maintenance work with an enphasis on Carpentry but including plumbing, tiling, painting and patch plastering.
This is a permanent position offering £36,800 per annum + van and fuel card.
Carpenter Multiskilled Operative Day to Day:
1. Going to various properties to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance work
2. Completing a variety of works in various trades
3. All aspects of Carpentry maintenance work
4. Tiling, minor plumbing, decorating etc.
5. Driving a company van safely
6. Reporting to your supervisor
7. Using a tablet or mobile to log your work
8. Driving to various properties in Swindon
Carpenter Multiskilled Operative Requirements:
9. Time served or NVQ qualified Carpenter
10. Good multi-trade experience
11. Social housing experience would be preferable
12. Good attitude
13. Honest and reliable
14. Full UK Driving Licence
DBS check will be carried out for the successful candidate
