Permanent, Full time, Monday - Friday
Shifts Available - Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:00

A permanent opportunity has become available at our Barnsley site for a Technical Compliance Officer. You will provide technical expertise to support adherence to the Food Safety Quality Management System, manage the Operating Specification system, and provide data analysis to ensure compliance with standards and improve quality, performance, and costs.
The successful candidate will:
* Support the Technical Manager (Compliance) with the development of the site FSQMS.
* Ensure Operating specifications are accurate and available on plant as required.
* Improve communication of Technical KPIs and updates to the site.
* Complete GAP analyses against customer codes of practice.
* Measure, evaluate, and propose continuous improvement initiatives for the food safety and quality management system.
* Recognize and react to potential risks to the Food Safety Quality Management system.
* Report and trend data, creating IT-based solutions where applicable.
* Provide advice based on existing data and knowledge.
What we need from you:
* Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene, or relevant food manufacturing experience.
* Ability to work under pressure and respond to short-term demands.
* Good team working skills and experience of working across multiple disciplines.
* Highly computer literate.
