Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children
* Supervise and support children's daily routines, including play, meals, rest, and hygiene
* Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily observations
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and uphold high standards of care
* Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development and wellbeing
* Lead by example in maintaining organisational standards, safety procedures, and best practices in childcare
* Assist with administrative tasks as required, including planning schedules and organising resources
* Drive nursery vehicles when necessary to facilitate outings or transportation needs
Qualifications
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
* Knowledge of early childhood development and education best practices
* Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations and team coordination
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator) are highly desirable
* Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
* Passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for young children
