Job Description
3. Dispense medications accurately while ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
4. Provide expert advice on the safe use of medications to customers and healthcare professionals.
5. Manage and review prescriptions to ensure suitability and accuracy.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical developments and products.
7. Offer consultations on minor ailments and over-the-counter medications.
8. Oversee stock control and ensure the proper storage of medications.
9. Support the training and development of pharmacy staff.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
11. A recognised pharmacy qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
12. Experience working in the healthcare industry, ideally in a community pharmacy setting.
13. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
