Senior Sustainability Consultant Aufgaben Reporting to the Director of Environment & Sustainability you will lead on carbon quantification, lifecycle assessments, sustainability coordination and assurance to benchmarking schemes. Have expertise and experience in carrying out lifecycle embodied carbon analyses (LCA), and develop circular economy strategies with a focus on driving optimal low-carbon design over whole lifecycle Have a proven track record of advising project teams with ambitious low-carbon design goals on embodied carbon and circular economy Be an expert on standard and best practice on embodied carbon and circular economy, including intimate familiarity with RICS professional statements, and relevant standards and guidance from other industry bodies such as CIBSE, IStructE, CWCT, UKGBC, LETI, and RIBA Be an expert in use of relevant software such as OneClickLCA (preferred) or other similar tools (e.g. eTool, Panda, etc.) Coordinate inputs to and outputs from complex calculations in a consistent, verifiable, and replicable manner Critically review embodied carbon and circular economy related deliverables developed by others Develop and standardise new methods and tools to improve the quality and effectiveness of embodied carbon and circular economy workstreams and further our leading-edge position in the industry Be knowledgeable about relevant requirements in sustainability benchmarking systems such as BREEAM. Liaise with client, architect, and members of the internal and external team with clarity and confidence Quantifyi whole life cycle carbon emissions in order to identify carbon hotspots and inform carbon reduction strategies as well as necessary reporting. Collaborating with various teams within the project to deliver the best innovative solution for delivering the above and a system to achieve PAS 2080 compliance - this will include the estimating, procurement, BIM, planning and engineering teams. Qualifikationen Minimum of three years' relevant experience. Such experience must clearly demonstrate a practical understanding of life cycle assessment (LCA) and its methodology. This includes familiarity and use of ISO 14040, ISO 14044 and use of carbon footprinting tools or other carbon LCA methodologies Degree level education All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cards where site-based work is required.
