Job Title:
HGV Driver (Class 2), Hemel HempsteadFull Time Permanent
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 42.5 hours

The Role
We are seeking an HGV Driver to join our Hemel Hempstead branch, delivering building materials locally through multi-drop routes. You will ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Hours
* 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday
* Start times between 6:30am – 7:30am
* No overnight stays or late evenings
* Saturday rota (approx. 2 per month), paid at 1.5x overtime rate
Key Responsibilities
* Operate HGV vehicles safely and in line with regulations
* Load/unload materials securely
* Complete deliveries as scheduled
* Maintain accurate driving records and tachograph use
* Conduct daily vehicle checks
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements
* HGV Category C licence (essential)
* HIAB/ALLMI and experience (preferred)
* Positive, professional, and safety-focused attitude
* Experience within a regulated or diagnostic environment (advantageous)
