Senior Intelligence Analyst
Division: Enforcement and Market Oversight • Department: Specialist Intelligence
Salary: National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £53,800 to £56,000 and London from £59,200 to £62,000 (based on skills and experience). Graded as: Senior Associate – Regulatory.

Role Responsibilities
* Proactively develop and analyse all-source intelligence to identify threats in the UK financial services sector from serious and organised crime.
* Manage delivery of intelligence analysis to internal and external stakeholders by taking ownership of complex casework targeting entities or persons posing a risk to consumer protection and UK market integrity.
* Proactively identify development opportunities and enhance intelligence generated by other parts of the Specialist Intelligence Department and the FCA.
* Research, prepare and disseminate intelligence products (profiles, reports and assessments) for internal and external customers, appropriately handling and disseminating sensitive intelligence.
* Collaborate with other teams within the Department to exploit sensitive intelligence sources to better understand threats of serious and organised crime.
* Innovate, share ideas, develop analytical techniques, peer‑review others’ analysis and act as a collaborative team member.
Minimum Skills Required
* Experience in managing stakeholder relationships, internally and externally, and collaborating effectively with others.
* Proven experience in conducting all-source intelligence, generating key judgements and reaching conclusions.
* Experience in proactively identifying and developing cases to contribute to 4P activity in the wider economic crime landscape.
Essential Qualifications
* Proven knowledge of economic crime threats and experience producing tactical analytical products.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexity and produce analytical products with clear findings, orally and in writing.
* Proficiency in storing, sharing, handling and securely using intelligence, including managing records systems and confidentiality.
* Strong IT capabilities with visualisation tools (i2 ANB, EIA, Microsoft) and experience with OSINT and SOCMINT.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation: FSMA, RIPA, CPIA, PIDA, and the UK Economic Crime landscape, National Intelligence Model and information sharing processes.
* Knowledge of or willingness to obtain Intelligence Professionalisation Programme certifications (Intelligence Analyst or Senior Analyst).
