The Role We are looking for a Network & Infrastructure Administrator to support and develop the companys IT environment across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining reliable systems, supporting users and helping to deliver improvements to our infrastructure, security and connectivity. The role will work closely with the Head of IT and colleagues across the business. Key Responsibilities Helpdesk Management Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the IT helpdesk Ensure incidents and service requests are logged, prioritised and resolved in a timely way Communicate clearly with colleagues so they understand progress and outcomes Prioritise issues based on operational impact to the business Identify recurring problems and work with the Head of IT to address root causes Help improve helpdesk processes, response times and user experience Contribute to building a reliable and well-organised internal IT support service Infrastructure & Systems Maintain and support the companys servers, networks and core infrastructure Monitor system performance and resolve issues Support system upgrades and improvements Assist with cloud services and system integrations Security & Reliability Support cyber security measures and system monitoring Maintain backups and disaster recovery processes Help ensure systems remain stable, secure and available Manage and keep updated our asset management tool to define future needs to ensure infrastructure and ICT items remain current and compliant. User Support Provide second and third line support across the business Support users across multiple locations Help resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues Projects & Improvements Assist with delivery of IT improvement projects Support rollout of new systems and technology Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and resilience You are: A practical, reliable and proactive person who enjoys solving problems and improving systems whilst demonstrating a sense of urgency. You have experience of working independently in: Microsoft environments (Windows Server / Microsoft 365) Networking (switches, firewalls, VPNs) Virtualisation platforms Backup and disaster recovery Cyber security practices Supporting users in a multi-site business logistics, manufacturing or operational businesses (optional) Practical and solutions-focused Calm under pressure A good communicator with non-technical colleagues Organised and able to prioritise Interested in improving how things work Closing date for this position is no later than 13 March 2026.
