About the Role:
As a Local Environmental Quality Coordinator, you will coordinate and project manage various environmental quality and certification programs within the LEQ department, working closely with the Local Environmental Quality Manager to ensure effective delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordination: Manage resources, including field officers, to deliver program outputs effectively within budget and deadlines.
* Project Management: Lead planning, implementation, and reporting of environmental quality initiatives.
* Surveying and Certifications: Coordinate certification programs such as Blue Flag and Green Flag, and conduct cleanliness surveys across boroughs.
* Community Engagement: Develop community participation in sustainability initiatives and expand geographical coverage.
* Communications: Act as the primary contact, respond to technical inquiries, and represent the charity at events.
* Research Support: Assist in research and policy analysis related to environmental sustainability.
