Responsibilities: To support individuals with complex health needs/ learning disabilities live in their own home with 24hr support. To support with daily tasks such as personal care, support with medication, food preparation, participation in community activities, supporting to and from day centre and any other daily task which is important to the individual. The ideal candidate would have experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities including individuals who present with behaviours that challenge. They would also have achieved a minimum of Level 2 NVQ/QCF in care work or similar OR be working towards this level of qualification. Experience working with individuals with Autism is desirable. Drivers License is desirable but not essential. Full training provided to ensure you are able to fulfil the role if you are successful. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and the cost of which will be met by us. It is a legal requirement for all Care Workers to be registered with Social Care Wales. Successful candidates will be expected to apply to become registered or already be on the said register.
