Pay Rate:£16.50 per hour
Overtime:Time and a half after 10 hours
About the Role:
Recruit A Driver is seeking reliable Class 1 drivers to work on a long-standing Chep pallets contract. This role involves delivering using curtain side and flatbed trailers from an unmanned trailer site in Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive curtain side or flatbed trailers on regional deliveries
* Operate automatic vehicles
* Follow clear delivery instructions, with regular trailer numbers sent via text
* Start each shift at 06:00
Shifts & Hours:
* Day shifts with a 06:00 start
* Flexible working patterns available
* Overtime paid after 10 hours
Requirements:
* Confident using ratchets and straps to secure loads
* Own a smartphone to use the delivery app
* New Class 1 licence holders considered, subject to approval
