Joining our Practice Excellence team as a Business Support Officer in this varied and rewarding role, you'll help deliver a comprehensive, efficient administrative support service that underpins high quality social work practice and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in supporting teams to work effectively, coordinating activity, improving processes and ensuring that accurate information is available to support decision:making.
What you'll do:
Provide essential business and coordination support to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of service activities including:

:Coordinating and maintaining processes, ensuring actions, actions, risks and mitigations are tracked and completed.
:Managing a shared inbox, responding to routine enquiries, coordinating requests for support and escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
:Supporting meetings and events, arranging schedules, preparing materials, attending meetings where needed, and tracking follow:up actions.
:Maintaining and improving digital systems, records, and documentation to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
:Contributing to service improvement work by coordinating activity, facilitating discussions and helping to ensure consistent ways of working.
:Working with internal teams and external partners to support clear communication and collaboration.
:Supporting the coordination of work across the team, including allocating tasks to colleagues where required.
What we're looking for:
Organised, adaptable and confident working in a fast:paced environment, you'll have:

:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths as a minimum.
:Previous administrative or business support experience, ideally within a service delivery environment, and the ability to work with sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner.
:Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
:Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to respond to a range of enquiries. Confidence building relationships with colleagues, teams and stakeholders.
:Experience using a variety of IT systems and software for data handling, reporting and communication.
:Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate information and reports.
