Senior Care and Support Assistant

37.5 hours per week
Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Senior Care and Support Assistant at our CQC-registered physical disabilities service at Hilltop House, Bury St Edmunds.
We deliver a wide range of personalized housing, care, and support services to help people across England live independently.

Role responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants
* Providing personal care and support, encouraging independence
* Safe handling of medication
* Building relationships with customers and external partners
* Promoting safe practices and conducting risk assessments
* Implementing safeguarding principles to ensure customer safety
Skills and experience required:
* Recent experience in a similar role with vulnerable people
* Previous supervisory experience
* Person-centered approach, strong interpersonal skills
* Enthusiastic, flexible, with a positive attitude
* Organizational skills, literacy, and numeracy
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Understanding of relevant legislation and best practices
