Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for 12 months or contingent work at hourly rate if preferred.
Salary: Circa £50,000 or equivalent rates on contract depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site ideally.
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after offer.

The opportunity:
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our Employee Relations (ER) team on a fixed term basis of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in complex case management, procedure and guidance development, trade union activities, terms and conditions writing, and be solution focused with deep expertise on employment matters. They will also be passionate about enabling, evolving and embedding change through effective communications and engagement on all ER related matters.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
* Provide knowledgeable, empathetic, resilient support with strong ER experience.
* Communicate, influence and build relationships throughout the business at all levels.
* Work in a multi‑functional team to provide logical solutions to complex issues.
* Contribute to the evolution of a collaborative culture and flexible/hybrid working environment.
* Coaching and advising on innovative ER solutions, including engagement activities and contract‑related solutions.
* Develop resources to empower employees and managers and support a positive ER climate.
* Apply employment legislation knowledge in a business context.
* Demonstrate integrity, be passionate about making a difference, and be commercially astute.
* Utilise coaching, facilitation and mediation skills.
* Build, engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, union representatives and company ambassadors.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong experience in complex case management and ER procedures.
* Experience in trade union activities and working in a unionised environment.
* Experience with employee representatives and trade union representations.
* Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and practical application.
* Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to coach, facilitate and mediate effectively.
