Machine Operative – Nights Location: Ascott-under-Wychwood Industry: Food Manufacturing / Milling Salary: £29,210 rising to £31,547 after probation (£14.04 plus £1.69 holiday – during probation) Shift: Nights (Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday, 22:00–06:30) (Initial training on days required) Were looking for Machine Operatives to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, supporting packing and production operations within a busy milling site. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where youll be responsible for running machinery, maintaining product quality, and keeping production moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor packing machinery and control panels Pack and prepare products for distribution Carry out quality checks and ensure product standards are met Move materials across site, including manual handling Troubleshoot minor faults and maintain smooth production Operate FLT Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred) Comfortable with physical work and manual handling (up to 25kg) Able to work on your feet for full shifts Strong attention to detail and quality standards Proactive mindset with good problem-solving ability Able to work nights and independently when required Good understanding of health & safety practices FLT experience or willingness to train Benefits: Competitive salary with progression after probation Full training provided, including potential FLT training Opportunity to develop within a growing business Stable, long-term work in a busy production environment I am looking to speak to machine operatives who are looking for a rewarding and highly challenging position.
