About the RoleHays Recruitment is proud to partner with Amey to recruit a proactive and experienced Team Leader to support facilities management services at HMP Liverpool. This is a hands-on leadership role within a secure environment, ideal for someone with a background in FM or estate management who thrives in a fast-paced, structured setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise a team of operatives delivering maintenance and soft FM services.
2. Ensurepliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Conduct team briefings, manage rotas, and oversee timesheet approvals.
4. Monitor health and safety standards and ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally.
5. Liaise with prison staff, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate daily operations.
6. Use CAFM systems (, Concept Evolution) to manage work orders and track service delivery.
7. Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.

8. Proven experience in a facilities or estates management environment.
9. Strong leadership andmunication skills.
10. Familiarity with CAFM systems and basic IT proficiency.
11. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
