Salary: GBP95 : GBP110 per day (Weekly Pay)

Randstad Education is seeking dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants to join forward:thinking secondary schools in Upminster.
The transition through secondary school is a pivotal time for students with additional needs. In this setting, wins are measured by growing independence whether that is a student gaining the confidence to contribute to a class discussion or successfully managing the transition between subject blocks. We are looking for professional, steady individuals who can provide the consistent support these students need to flourish.
The Role
*
Inclusion Support: Assist secondary students with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH) to access the curriculum and engage with complex subjects.
*
Independence Mentoring: Help pupils develop the life skills and self:regulation strategies they need as they move toward adulthood.
*
Curriculum Adaptation: Collaborate with subject:specialist teachers to modify tasks, ensuring learning materials are accessible and inclusive.
*
Small:Group Interventions: Lead targeted sessions focused on literacy, numeracy, or social:emotional development to close the attainment gap.
The Requirements
*
Experience: A background in education, youth mentoring, psychology, or social care is highly desirable.
*
Resilience: The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast:paced secondary environment.
*
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with teenagers and coordinate effectively with the schools SENCO.
*
Commitment: Availability for full:time hours (Monday to Friday) during term time.
*
DBS: An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness for one).
