Key Account Sales Manager
The Opportunity:
Are you a pro-active Internal Sales or Key Account Manager with a technical background and desire to meet with your customers face to face from time to time? This role is the perfect combination: 60% key account management, 40% pro-active new business development. You will be required to travel to see UK customers about once a month, and potentially visit those in Europe once every three months. Its a really lovely job! It would ideally suit somebody whos worked in a mechanical engineering environment, possibly automotive, aerospace or industrial engineering.
The Role:
1. To develop, manage and grow existing key customer accounts whilst seeking out new business opportunities.
2. To lead a structured sales process, including qualifying leads, quoting, negotiating and converting; ensuring consistent and profitable business growth.
3. Be the primary point of contact for existing customers, coordinating their requirements internally whilst maintaining strong customer service with accurate data and timely responses.
4. Provide and support the preparation of accurate sales forecasts/ trends for monthly, quarterly and annual analysis by business stakeholders.
