Day Care Assistant (Part-time)
Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not‑for‑profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, supporting older people for over 120 years. We offer care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for those in financial difficulty.
Hours: Part‑time, 25 hours per week.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday shifts, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
* Provide holistic care and support for clients to maintain independence, autonomy, and choice.
* Ensure clients’ physical, social, and wellbeing needs are met.
* Maintain a high standard of care and uphold client dignity, respect, and safety.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
* Support clients in daily activities and encourage social interaction.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential or desirable).
* Experience working with older people preferable but not essential.
* Empathetic, respectful, self‑motivated, and flexible team player.

Criminal Record Checks
