🔧 What You’ll Be DoingAs a key member of the maintenance team, you’ll ensure the facility operates at peak performance by:
Performing essential front-line tasks like greasing, pump unblocking, and oil changes
Delivering day-to-day preventative maintenance to avoid costly downtime
Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns using SCADA systems and fault-finding techniques (mechanical & electrical)
Collaborating with operations teams to support plant performance
Maintaining accurate documentation to meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
Taking on additional responsibilities to support career growth and team goals
Participating in the call-out rota and being flexible with overtime or shift work
🛠️ What You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who’s technically sharp, safety-conscious, and ready to make a difference:
Completed mechanical apprenticeship (HNC in Mechanical Engineering is a plus)
Experience in AD or similar environments (EFW, Biomass, Water Treatment)
Skilled in first-line maintenance of pumps, conveyors, and other process equipment
Confident reading P&IDs and applying fault-finding techniques
Familiar with SCADA/DCS systems and continuous improvement practices
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and solid IT skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
