An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join the well-established employment team of a highly regarded national law firm, based in their Leicester office. This is a forward-thinking firm with an excellent reputation for its client service and commitment to the development of its people.
The Role:
You will be working as part of a highly experienced and supportive employment team, advising a varied client base ranging from large corporates and public sector organisations to owner-managed businesses and senior executives. The work is broad in scope and includes both contentious and non-contentious matters, such as:
· Employment Tribunal litigation
· Redundancy and restructuring projects
· TUPE advice
· HR support and day-to-day advisory work
· Drafting and negotiating employment contracts and policies
· Senior exits and settlement agreements
You will be encouraged to build your own client relationships, with plenty of opportunity for business development and a clear progression route within the team.
Candidate Requirements:
· Ideally 2-6 years' PQE, though applications outside of this range will be considered on merit
· Strong grounding in employment law with experience across both contentious and advisory matters
· Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
· A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a leading national firm
