Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of a large regional civil engineering main contractor to oversee delivery of projects across Yorkshire. The company delivers key infrastructure solutions in the form of cycle routes, highways and bridges/structures as main contractor in Yorkshire. Duties/Responsibilities include: * Management of 1 or 2 projects (depending on value) - values up to £10m * Set example in health, safety and environmental by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. * Assist Contracts Manager with allocation of staff and sub-contractors. * Assist with programming work. * Leading ECI - Early Contractor Involvement. * Communicating with commercial team to control budgets & track costs. * Issuing early warnings & compensation events. * Reporting to a Contracts Manager and working with them to ensure site targets are hit. * Attend meetings with clients. * Produce relevant documentation for sites.
