We are looking for a skilled and commercially focused Financial Analyst to work directly with one of our clients. This exciting new role will be split as outlined below:
1. 50% - Financial Analyst
Support strategic decision-making and business case preparation; financial analytics to support options comparison (own vs lease), transaction financials, and sensitivity analytics. Knowledge and experience of Lease accounting (IFRS).
2. 50% - Financial Manager
Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates for RE projects. Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and financial guidelines. Work closely with the project team to create comprehensive financial plans (budgets and forecasts), considering all project phases and potential contingencies. Manage PO requisition process. Implement robust cost control measures to track project expenditures against the budget. Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions in collaboration with project teams. Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports, presenting key cost-related metrics to relevant stakeholders. Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure project financial practices comply with legal requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the whole RE team within the client.
Qualifications
* Prior experience within a Financial Analysis or Client Accounting role.
* Proven experience of delivering commercially focused reports.
* Ability to implement and amend processes to benefit the client.
* Proactive and client-focused approach.
* Highly organized, with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
* German speaking is a plus but not essential.
Additional Information
* The role will be based outside of London, in either Manchester, Leeds, or Birmingham, with the ability to travel to Lincoln 1 day per month.
