This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified electrician with a background in installation and/or fixed wire inspection and testing to join Allianz Engineering, a division of one of the largest insurers and financial services companies in the world.

Role Description
As an Engineer Surveyor - Fixed Wire Tester you will:
1. Carry out the Periodic Inspection & Test and complete the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for all types of industrial and commercial installations such as offices, factories, quarries and hotels. Also included is the testing of Lightning Protection Systems and Electric Vehicle Chargers.
2. Work closely with your Engineer Surveyor Team managed by one of our Senior Operations Team Leaders.
3. Prepare reports of examination following your inspections using electronic reporting to ensure fast and efficient delivery to our clients.
4. This role involves hands-on inspections of various plant and equipment and may require working at height, in confined spaces, lifting, and climbing in hot and cold conditions. It may also involve exposure to noise and dust.
Salary Information
Starting from £44,213 per year, based on relevant experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of our total reward package.

About You
* Up to date with BS7671:2018 amendment 2 knowledge.
* Willing to learn and take on new challenges.
* Able to make well-informed decisions and take responsibility.
* Effective in short, medium, and long-term planning.
* Able to travel within your local work area.
* Support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors as required.
* Good time management skills for organizing your work independently.
* Comfortable using tablets and smartphones as part of your work.
* Passionate about engineering, self-driven, and able to interact with clients daily.
Essential Skills
* Experience with low voltage electrical installations.
* Experience in fixed wire testing.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering.
* Hold BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 (18th Edition).
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent preferred.
* Strong customer interaction, oral and written communication skills.
* Valid UK driving license.

* Professional engineer registration (desirable but not essential).
