We are looking to recruit a full-time Teacher to teach English to mixed ability students in the KS2 and KS3 range. In addition to teaching English, it would also be desirable for the successful candidate to deliver KS2/3 Humanities from a set of pre-planned resources. You will be teaching pupils who often have significant gaps in their learning and are learning below national expectation. The role encompasses more of a primary approach, teaching a single class in core and foundation subjects, so it would suit a teacher with primary qualifications who preferably has experience in working with a range of SEND.
The duties will include all aspects of teaching pupils a bespoke English curriculum tailored to their individual needs and, as stated, would encompass all areas of the curriculum, both core and foundation.

6. A proven excellent classroom practitioner, willing and able to teach any year group as directed by the Principal
7. Able to plan, organise, model and resource an outstanding and stimulating learning environment for individual children and groups of children and deliver, evaluate and assess learning
8. Understanding and be able to demonstrate current good practice across KS2
9. Good understanding of what constitutes an Outstanding School Curriculum
10. Sound knowledge of current strategies used to narrow the gap between different groups
11. Ability to lead and learn from others
12. Experience of using PIVATS to measure the progress of children
