A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a busy site on a 6‑month contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service standards.
About the RoleYou’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day management of a large, multi‑service facilities contract, ensuring operational, financial andpliancemitments are consistently met and exceeded. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll be the key point of contact for stakeholders, contractors and on‑site teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide daily leadership, support and direction to on‑site teams
2. Ensure all contractual KPIs and service levels are achieved
3. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and anticipate customer needs
4. Drive high standards in QHSE performance, behaviours andpliance
5. Manage staffing structures, succession planning and team development
6. Oversee financial performance including revenue, cost control and WIP reduction
7. Ensure statutory and policypliance across all site operations
8. Lead on Health & Safety, including RAMS, permits, risk assessments and audits
9. Manage Mechanical & Electrical services and ensure technicalpliance
10. Support business continuity planning and risk management activities
11. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence
What We’re Looking For
12. Experience in a similar Facilities Management role
13. Strong leadership,munication and organisational skills
14. Excellent attention to detail and a customer‑focused mindset
15. Confident working with CAFM systems and Microsoft Office
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider operational team
17. Calm, reliable and adaptable under pressure
18. Willingness to work flexibly when required
Qualifications & Training
19. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – essential
20. Advanced PC skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
21. Experience with CAFM systems
22. Higher‑level qualifications (A‑Level/HNC/Degree) – desirable
23. Financial awareness or P&L experience – desirable
Contract Details
24. 6‑month contract
25. £20 per hour (PAYE)
26. Full‑time, site‑based role in Rotherham
