Are you an active, compassionate individual with a genuine passion for supporting others?
We are seeking personal assistants to provide high-quality support to a young adult with autism and epilepsy, both at home and within the community.
You will join a dedicated team working on a 2:1 support basis, helping to promote independence and wellbeing in daily life and recreational activities
Key responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support with daily routines
* Administer and support with medication needs
* Heating up meals
* Help maintain a clean and safe home environment
* Support in community based activities such as rollerblading, cycling, walking and sailing, using the exercise bike at the local gym. Twice weekly support with can crushing, kindling, shredding and birdfeeders, spending quality time in a private heated pool and supporting reflexology sessions, access also to a sensory room.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities is preferred, however full training and shadowing will be provided.
